	Blackout is an infographic poster that visualizes the sequence and causes of the Northeast Blackout of 2003 in the United States. Information and data are based on multiple New York Times articles and the task force final report released by the US government. The 20” x 30” poster includes timeline of the cascade, chain of events, basic concepts of the eletrical power grid, and the aftermath of blackout.In collaboration with Shijing Li.

	An 8-week student project to rebranding the Peggy Notebaert Nature Museum in Chicago. It is a natural history museum that focuses on the natural history of the region and offers educational programs for children and adults. The final design evolves from the company’s existing identity, retaining the original organic and friendly character while giving it a contemporary update.

A Pocket Travel Guide to MTR explores storytelling through the form of a puzzle. It critiques subway maps as biased narrators, representing one interpretation of our real world. The book deconstructs the existing subway network of Hong Kong and asks the reader to participate in recreating a new landscape. The individual experiences of the six characters in the book ultimately add up to the multitudes of reality.

	Book design on the chapter Sirens from James Joyce’s Ulysses. 
Since the structure of the text mirrors an opera overture, the book visualizes the musicality through typography design. The form of the book is a music sheet which can be feed into a hand crank musical box. A variety of musical passages are manually punched on top of the printed text.4.5” x 10.5”, inkjet printing on matte paper.

	Designing a logo for a handmade wood furniture workshop in Williamstown, Massachusetts. The client specified using chickadee, a winter bird native to the region, to represent the company. Established in 2020, the family-run workshop produces mid-century Scandinavian- and Shaker-inspired furniture, as well as other housewares including baskets, bowls, and stools.
